Andy joined Fickett Structural Solutions in November 2017 with over 24 years of structural engineering experience in the transportation industry; primarily in the areas of bridge design, load rating, and inspection.

Andy’s background includes the design of new bridges in addition to structural repairs of existing bridges. This design experience includes designs utilizing all common bridge materials and both simple and complex bridge types. Andy has extensive knowledge and understanding of the FHWA National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) and current element level condition ratings. Andy’s inspection capabilities are supplemented by being a certified Rope Access Technician and as an Under Bridge Inspection Truck (UBIT) operator.
